Like a lot of folks who own and rely on small businesses for our income, we’re feeling pretty shaken as social distancing will likely be the norm for a while and many of our communities have seen our non-essential businesses shuttered.

We’re especially concerned for our regular stockists, Flowerland in Albany, CA, Synthesis in Pittsburgh, PA, and Potted here in LA. All are working hard to find creative ways to serve their customers and communities, and see their businesses survive.

Now more than ever, we need to support each other so starting today, for every $60* you spend with us, we will buy you a $10 gift card to your favorite local shop, maker, restaurant, or if you’d rather, we’ll donate to an organization providing support to workers affected by business closures on your behalf. That means if you spend $120, we’ll give $20, and so on. Just tell us who you’d like to support in the Gift Message box at check out, and please include their website address if you know it.

Let’s show our appreciation for the businesses and people who provide employment, connection, and joy in our social fabric. We hope you all are staying safe and healthy out there. We’re committed to emerging from this difficult time Stronger and Together.
